About Davis County
Davis County covers are area of 304 square miles on the east shores of Great Salt Lake and on Antelope Island. Despite being Utah's smallest county in area, it is one of the most heavily populated, 238,994 people in 2000, nestled at the base of the Wasatch Mountains just north of Salt Lake City.
Antelope Island is the largest of a few islands in the Great Salt Lake. It can be reached by a causeway. It is a State Park and a popular sightseeing trip.
